    Tourism
Wow I hardly ever write in this thing.. it seems the height of self-indulgence, and I don't like listening to myself that much :o) But I hadda say that BC sure is a wonderful province! My partner and I have been giving passes to many of the tourist attractions, and we've been running around seeing so much! Suspension bridges, tram rides, mountain vistas, rushing rivers, etc etc etc.

So come all to visit British Columbia! It has it all :o)

PS. I have a few fursuits that just cry out to be finished, but I blame BC for being so purty and distracting me from my side business. But I don't mind at all!

    Website and Email insanity
I'm sitting here waiting for some email fixes to kick in, so I thought I'd rant about my lame-ass website domain provider. They've updated their website so it's now nearly impossible to figure out how to change the email and URL forwarding.. so my business website is now in limbo for the next few days until (I hope) the updates I made fix it. My website hoster, another company, is also down. When it rains it pours!

Nothing chews me more about computers than some programmers sitting in their geek world thinking "oh let's change this, it'll be so k00l!" and making everything much more complicated.

But on the bright side, over the last few weeks I've made amazing new friends and gotten a few assignments to do some costuming events for kids. Fairly big events, too. Neat! And I may be on CTV soon, all costumed up. Not bad fer a biz that's only a few weeks old, and that I can only dedicate a small amount of time to.

    Fursuits!
I've got nothing but raves about my costumes, and my new website at www.toonsuits.com! I wandered around town for a while recently, and the smiles and hugs and waves I got reminded me why I build and wear my costumes. Parents seem to like them as much as the kids! Maybe even more than the kids do!

I hope to have two more done in the next few weeks, a hyena (for my new friend Tim - I love ya dude!) and a bunny (for my best friend and roommate - I love ya the most dude!) I hope to be busy suiting people up for a long time, it's so much fun!

    Hugs to ya all!

My 15 minutes of fame.. or less!
Hmm I got mention in a local Vancouver newspaper. Cover story, even! I spoke to the reporter because I knew she was going to take a fairly unpleasant angle regarding the local fur-scene. I think I managed to provide a better story for her.

I dress up in costume to make people smile, and I build them for the challenge. I would hate to be lumped in with any weirdos, or nuts like I saw in a CSI episode.

I think I did fairly well, though a local fur did freak on me about how I screwed up, then later apologized. Not sure what he thought was wrong with the story, it actually came out okay. My friends (who are largely non-furs) think I came out as a star. It would definitely have been worse if nobody had talked to her, since she had already visited furry websites and had her own ideas.

The pictures were cute, too: http://www.vancourier.com/

    Paws out
Nothing to say in my first entry. The rain is lovely, my home is warm, my plush bears are cuddly. Now, I must decide what to eat..
